Nina has started laughing! It takes some work, but Christian is determined, as you can see. Those are Max's feet in the background, in case you're wondering.

The first of many

Last weekend Nina had her first plane ride to CA to visit with Christian's family and friends. She got to meet her Mimi and Gigi (great-grandparents), hang with her Granny and Aunt Kerry and enjoy some real sunshine finally.

Four months

One year ago this week we found out we were pregnant. Now Nina is 4 months old...what a trip?! Her doctor's appt went well, she is healthy and growing well. She has rolled over a few times now, continues to amaze us with her very elaborate stories, prefers sitting up to laying down and has woken up to the world around her. Some new pics to share, including playing with toys and some canoodling with her friend Miya.

Grey day

Today is a very sad day for us, Jack lost his battle with cancer and we said goodbye to him this morning. To say he will be missed is an understatement. He was part of our family and our hearts and we are very sad. He was such a fighter, having recovered from three surgeries for an adrenal gland tumor and most recently a year's worth of chemo.

We are so happy he got to meet Nina and move to the new house with us. Wish he could have lived forever, but we know he was ready to join his furry friends elsewhere.
